The Starter Blog Transformation
As you may or may not know your profile comes with a free blog, the default theme you see here on the Hola! blog, so many changes have come and gone. With each revision we hope to keep the best of what’s available.
We are almost done with Weblogs section of the blogadera.
Here are some of the new features. The default theme has a history page to show your post in a calendar view. This comes in handy when looking back at the month to see your blog activity. It will be very helpful when it comes to exploring your site and keep you motivated for badge earnin’ !!!
The layout is a little cleaner and more number oriented to really your show your posts in an easy way for your readers.
Once we finish this theme, we’ll move on to a new one.

The New Razer Starter Blog
The Latino Blog Network by Blogadera present the starter blog : Razer. It comes standard as part of your membership to blogadera.com – It has easy frontend posting so you can post faster without tinkering around in the dashboard…yes the “dashboard” as in WordPress, all our members blogs will have wp under the hood so if you are familiar with the platform you’ll already know how to blog with blogadera blogs.
This is yet another beta version of the starter blog so your feedback is crucial…and we’ll build the perfect starter blog for this network.
The start blog comes with blogadera related widgets that you can edit/add/delete. With more to come.
Customization! Yes…you can now upload your own logo as you can see here on our Hola blog. Add more customization by adding an image in the header. Add even more by changing the background color. All available from the theme options panel.
There are four types of blog post you can do right now from the front of your blog.
1. Blurb, consider it a status message for your blog…short messages you want to drop when you are just not feeling it.2. Blog Post, these are for your longer post.
3. Song Quote, this is new, you can drop a song quote or line in the song you are listening to at the moment. who listens to music to blog? we do!
4. Link, bookmark a link you feel might help the readers of your blog and the rest of the blogadera community.
–Tag it, once your done with the post tag it to keep things organized around here! Plus it’ll help match it up with other post on the blogadera network. coooool.
Speaking of which…the Public Timeline is the place where all of our posts bubble up. See if you want to see what everyone is blogging about in a snazzy little news feed, the public timeline is there.
Why is this a starter blog? Well, we didn’t want this to be just any other blog network…we wanted themes that are unique to the experience here at blogadera. This is the default blog everyone starts out with. Over time and after your blog activity increases and comment luv, you will begin to earn blogger status, influence levels…ah yes and BADGES! And at each milestone you will unlock new premium themes as well as a nice little badge to show off to your friends.
That is it for now blogadera….again, try out your starter blog, let it stretch its legs and start working towards building those points, the badges will start being divvied out soon!
